Late last year over 40,000 veterans returned from Irag and were able to spend Christmas with their families. That was the good news, the bad news is that these same veterans are now entering a not so good job market.
I served in Vietnam and returned to the US in late 1970 in similar circumstances; no job, no money and a family to feed and take care of. I chose a career in insurance sales and moved into management. I am still in the insurance business over 40 years later.
